Privacy notice
Last updated: 1 November 2026
This notice explains what data is processed when you visit stipio.eu or write to us. Each app has its own privacy notice, linked from the app’s page.
1. Who is responsible
Stipio, Selectiv Media, owned by Jeroen de Kovel, Gijsbrecht van Walenborchstraat 45, 3515 BS Utrecht, the Netherlands. Email: [email protected]. More details are on the contact page. We have not appointed a data protection officer, as we are not required to.
2. Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd. on a server in Paris, France. We have a data processing agreement with Hostinger.
Each time a page is requested, the server briefly stores what your browser sends: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system. We do this to keep the website secure and stable and to detect attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in doing so (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and UK GDPR). The logs are deleted after 30 days at the latest.
3. Cloudflare
Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA) sits between your browser and our server. It forwards requests and protects the website against attacks. In doing so, Cloudflare sees your IP address and the pages you visit. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure website (Article 6(1)(f)). Cloudflare acts as our processor. Because Cloudflare runs a worldwide network, data may be transferred outside the EU and the UK, including to the USA. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension, and the EU standard contractual clauses apply.
4. Contact form and email
If you write to us through the contact form or by email, we process your name, your email address and your message, only to answer your question. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering questions (Article 6(1)(f)); if it concerns a purchase, also Article 6(1)(b).
The website does not store your message. It is sent by Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, Paris, France) as an email to our mailbox at Hostinger. Both act as our processors, and both are in the EU. Once your question has been dealt with, we delete the email.
You don’t have to give us any data, but without an email address we cannot reply. To prevent spam, we count how many messages come from one IP address; this count is only kept in memory and is gone after an hour.
5. Cookies, analytics and fonts
We only use cookies that are strictly necessary, never for analytics or advertising. That is why there is no cookie banner. There is no analytics and no tracking.
The fonts are served from our own server; your browser does not load anything from Google.
6. Links to the App Store and Google Play
If you follow a link to the App Store or Google Play, you leave stipio.eu. There, Apple and Google are responsible themselves, and their privacy policies apply.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and the right to object. To use these rights, email [email protected]. There is no automated decision-making and no profiling.
You can complain to a supervisory authority: the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, which is responsible for us, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) in the UK, or the Data Protection Commission in Ireland.
8. Changes
If anything changes on the website that affects your data, we will update this notice. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
